PROJECTO VILLAGES ON MOVE
Leiria Flying Objects e Politécnico de Leiria apresentam à Europa dez personalidades do distrito de Leiria que inspiram a prática desportiva no projecto europeu Villages On Move, que arrancou em 2019.
As dez firesouls (“espíritos de fogo”, em português) nacionais escolhidas são personalidades do distrito de Leiria que se têm empenhado na promoção da actividade física em diversas vertentes.
Estes exemplos inspiradores e promotores da actividade física e da prática desportiva no distrito
de Leiria vão partilhar as suas experiências de vida com a Europa através do projecto Villages On Move.
Nos últimos meses, os dez foram entrevistados sobre o seu percurso, estratégias, dificuldades, ambições e sonhos.
Através de Villages On Move, LFO e Politécnico dão a conhecer a diversas instituições de ensino e investigação europeias os casos muito especiais de Carlos Carmino (atletismo), Carlos Vieira (ciclismo), Clara Leão (dança), Isabel Monteiro (orientação), José Artur (desportos de natureza), Manuel Sousa (desporto adaptado), Marisa Barroso (dança), Miguel Murillo (surf), Sara Brito (atletismo) e Ticha Penicheiro (basquetebol).
O projecto Villages On Move é coordenado pela XAMK - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Finlândia) e tem como parceiros a ESLi - Southern Savo Sports Federation (Finlândia), University College Limburg – Leuven (Bélgica), Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (Lituânia), Sports Union of Slovenia (Eslovénia), Center for Social Innovation (Chipre) e Crosskovacsi Sport and Environmental Association (Hungria), além dos LFO e Politécnico de Leiria.
VILLAGES ON MOVE PROJECT
Leiria Flying Objects and Politécnico de Leiria present to Europe ten personalities from the Leiria district who inspire sports practice in the European project Villages On Move, which started in 2019.
The ten national firesouls chosen are personalities from the district of Leiria who have been engaged in promoting physical activity in several aspects.
These inspiring and encouraging examples of physical activity and sports in the district from Leiria will share their life experiences with Europe through the Villages project On Move.
In the last few months, the ten were interviewed about their path, strategies, difficulties, ambitions and dreams.
Through Villages On Move, LFO and Polytechnic make known to several institutions of European teaching and research the very special cases of Carlos Carmino (athletics), Carlos Vieira (cycling), Clara Leão (dance), Isabel Monteiro (orienteering), José Artur (sports of Manuel Sousa (adapted sport), Marisa Barroso (dance), Miguel Murillo (surfing), Sara Brito (athletics) and Ticha Penicheiro (basketball).
The Villages On Move project is coordinated by XAMK - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and partners with ESLi - Southern Savo Sports Federation (Finland), University College Limburg - Leuven (Belgium), Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), Sports Union of Slovenia (Slovenia), Center for Social Innovation (Cyprus) and Crosskovacsi Sport and Environmental Association (Hungary), in addition to the LFO and Polytechnic of Leiria.
